From primitive shamans to the bombastic Crowley types, we go over the idea that people have always brushed up against deeper layers of awareness, but just never quite learned how to control them. At its base, Wilson tries to argue that this is less about the supernatural and more about whether we’re living at a fraction of our actual potential.
