Eight years after we first visited Murray, Vicky and Gracie in their beautiful reclaimed tiny home, they’ve started an incredible new chapter. Now living on an 800-acre intentional community in northern New South Wales, they’ve created a wonderfully resourceful off-grid life centred around a tiny A-frame cabin, abundant permaculture gardens and a whole collection of DIY spaces. Watch our original tour of their first tiny home here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbUkLeBUmxI Their A-frame tiny home was built using mostly reclaimed, salvaged and locally milled materials, while the property now includes an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, composting toilet, workshop, greenhouse, guest caravan and productive food gardens. Powered by solar, supported by rainwater and spring water, and surrounded by food production and shared community resources, this is a fascinating example of affordable living, sustainable design and just how much can be created with very little.
