Earlier this year I filmed an interview with Q’ero elder Benito Apaza Lunesco while in the Andes region of Peru. This interview is for my next documentary on the Q’ero people, an Indigenous Andean community who have preserved many of the spiritual traditions, ceremonies, and cosmology of their ancestors for centuries. Living high in the Peruvian Andes, the Q’ero are often regarded as keepers of an ancient wisdom rooted in deep reverence for nature, harmony with the living world, and a direct relationship with the sacred. I am still in the editing process of the film, which can take some time. However, I wanted to share this clip from the interview as I thought it was a really beautiful message 🙏
