Politics replaced monarchy as a means of manipulating people to give their collective power to the few (the Global Cult in different guises) under the illusion that they choose the government when the Cult is doing the choosing. There are apparently 8 billion humans which the few could never control if they were in anything like unity and awareness.

So, you keep them unaware by selling another version of the SAME system (‘we need a new political party’), you divide and rule them through politics and religion, and you trick them into handing their power to a few politicians answerable to the system controlled ultimately by even fewer.

On and on it goes decade after decade and clearly Carlson is yet to figure THAT out either in relation to politics or religion.
