JVC's Polls gave 135-150 seats to the NDA and 88-103 seats for the INDIA bloc. They have projected 0-1 seats for the JSP while giving 3-6 seats for others.

People's insight gave 133-148 seats to the NDA and 87-102 seats for the Mahagathbandhan.

The NDA, comprising the BJP, JD(U) and LJP (Ram Vilas) as the major alliance partners, is looking to return to power in Bihar, riding on the popularity and influence of the state's longest serving chief minister, Nitish Kumar.

The opposition INDIA bloc, which has the RJD, the Congress and the Left parties as the main constituents, is looking to form the government with RJD's Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial face.

Rubbishing the exit poll result results as being 'written at the direction of BJP's top leaders', Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday exuded confidence that the opposition alliance would achieve a "clean sweep" in Bihar.

Addressing a press conference, Tejashwi Yadav said, "What is written down by Amit Shah is sent over to the media by the PMO and is run on channels. Compared with the 2020 elections, 72 lakh more people have voted this time..."

"These votes were not to save Nitish Kumar but to change the government. This is vote for change...the government is going to be changed..." he claimed.
