Attorney General nominee Todd Blanche on Wednesday morning faced Senate Judiciary Committee members in a confirmation hearing.

President Trump last month announced that he nominated Todd Blanche to serve as Attorney General.

President Trump praised Todd Blanche on Tuesday evening ahead of the hearing and called on the senate to confirm him as the next US Attorney General.

“Todd Blanche is doing a PHENOMENAL job as Acting Attorney General of the United States. Under Todd’s incredible leadership at DOJ, Murder is down to the LOWEST level since 1900, and we just saw the biggest one year drop in RECORDED HISTORY,” Trump said on Tuesday evening.

Democrat Senator Adam Schiff used the hearing as an opportunity to attack Blanche for not releasing volume II of Jack Smith’s report on Trump.

Schiff accused Blanche of having a conflict of interest because he served as President Trump’s personal attorney prior to joining the DOJ.

Adam Schiff obsessed over volume II of Jack Smith’s garbage report on Trump and insisted Blanche blocked it from being released to the public.

Blanche buried Adam Schiff.

“What you’re saying happens to not be true! I did not do that…and I’m recused from that case! You can’t accuse me of violating ethical rules, and then lie about what I did!” Blanche said.
