Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWhile driving down the road in the market town of Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester, England, a woman named Sophie Birch and her boyfriend spotted a strange object hovering overhead. Acting quickly, Sophie began capturing this video of the dark object as it emitted a grey-colored smoke trail.
“We were driving along and suddenly we spotted it.” Sophie told the Manchester Evening News. “We just couldn’t believe it – at first I thought it was a plane or something but it just wasn’t moving, it was hovering.
My boyfriend was driving and he slammed on his brakes, then we pulled over so we could both see it better.”
“It was so unusual, we kept watching it for quite a while and there’s no simple explanation as to what it is, I think it could be aliens – my sister said it was.
You can see on the video it’s like a black ship, with something coming out of the back.
At one point we saw a flock of birds flying suddenly away from it like they were scared.”
Many have expressed skepticism over the footage, and believe the object was merely a smudge on the windshield. Some even point out that the object is still visible even when other vehicles pass by.
While there are instances where the object appears to still be visible even when a vehicle passes in front of it, I can’t help but noticed that the side window looks to be partially rolled down. If that’s the case, then the ‘smudge on the window’ theory would be debunked entirely.
With all that said however, it’s still unclear if this object was truly of otherworldly origin or not, which is why I’m quite interested in hearing your thoughts on this. Do you think the object was an actual alien aircraft? Or is there a more conventional explanation?
