PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayLife as we know it today seems to pull our attention in a thousand different directions, from the constant reminders of notifications, buzzing smartphones, overflowing email inboxes, and the endless stream of social media.
As a society, we are more digitally connected than ever. This constant influx of external noise can easily deplete one’s energy, cloud one’s intuition, or leave one feeling deeply disconnected and overwhelmed in life.
As Reiki practitioners and teachers, we remind our clients and students to ground themselves, yet we may find ourselves not taking our own advice. As we serve others, perhaps the true challenge lies in maintaining a sustainable Reiki space in our daily lives.
Through my journey transitioning from an elementary school teacher to an energy worker after the profound loss of my sister, Angel, I learned that we cannot always control the chaos of the outside world. However, we can control how we anchor ourselves. We can make a conscious choice to turn away from our screens to find clarity, calm, and inner guidance, and intentionally create a dedicated sanctuary, a Reiki space anywhere.
Creating a Reiki space in a busy world is not just about aesthetics; it is about establishing a sacred energetic space where the digital world fades away, and the healing frequencies can flow more freely. Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned teacher, building this sanctuary in the midst of chaotic moments is a powerful step toward reclaiming your peace, especially when you are someone with hours of screen time.
Where does one begin to create a Reiki space in this modern world?
This is about creating the space wherever you are in that moment in time. From sitting in your car to sitting in the waiting room of an emergency room, or sitting on your couch at home. It begins with a decision. The mindful choice to unplug and plug into Source. Set firm digital boundaries. True energy work requires presence.
- Before stepping into your space, power down your electronics. Turn off the notifications that trigger the limbic system’s stress response. Silence the digital noise to set that digital boundary for your conscious mind, letting your body and mind know that it is safe to turn your awareness inward.
- Set a Physical Foundation. Do you have a quiet corner space in your home or office where you can remain uninterrupted? Look around at your environment. You do not need a whole room. Just somewhere where your body can relax for a few moments.
- Comfort and Support: Choose a comfortable seat or a place where you can sit with a straight spine. If you have access to a blanket, have it nearby; use a pillow under your knees, or an eye pillow to block out external light. If not, just close your eyes and place your hands over your heart center or place your hands in Gassho (placing your two palms together).
- Sensory Grounding: Introduce, if you can, a natural element to counter the artificial glow of screens. If available, utilize nature sounds or singing bowls to ground your environment. Incorporate lavender scent, a candle, or light incense to calm the senses, and hold a crystal in your hands.
- Once the physical space is ready, the energetic clearing begins. Take a moment to cleanse this space by using specific Reiki symbols and intentional breathwork.
- Sit quietly, close your eyes, and focus on the rise and fall of your chest. Visualize a pure, highly refined light of divine love filling the room. Set a clear intention for the space: “May my Reiki space be a sanctuary of calm and peace. A place for my highest good, grace, and harm to none for all who enter.”
- Then think of this Reiki space as the place where you add feathers to your wings. Step inside, quiet the digital chatter, breathe, and give yourself permission to fly. Take as long as you need.
- When you are finished, thank Reiki for helping you attain calm and peace.

How can you maintain your energetic space without withdrawing from the world?
Consider integrating these practices into your daily routine:
- Live the Gokai as a lifestyle. This is skill in action. Just pick one principle that resonates for that particular day. The one I usually choose is “Just for today, I will not worry.” This becomes my daily mental anchor when I feel my energy scattering during the day, especially when I find myself doomscrolling on social media about a certain triggering topic. I place my hands on my heart and ask Reiki to help me.
- Dry Bathing. Practice Kenyoku-ho after each time you are on your laptop or phone. Any time you have screen time. Devices carry their own chaotic, static energy. Spend thirty seconds practicing Kenyoku-ho after long periods of computer, iPad, or phone work to consciously disconnect your field from the digital noise.
- A Gassho pause: Before opening your emails, texts, or stepping into a busy store, place your hands together at your heart center. Bring your entire focus to the point where your middle fingers meet to instantly draw your scattered energy back inward. Just a 3-minute pause.
- Make sure to thank Reiki.
The ultimate goal here is cultivating a Reiki space, whether physical or internal, to help strengthen your intuition so deeply that you can carry that inner calm back out into the noisy world. This is a practice. Give yourself time and grace. The key is being consistent every day. You have 24 hours in a day; can you give yourself just a few minutes to create your Reiki space?
The world will try to pull at your energy and challenge your peace; just keep going. If you have a dedicated practice and a sacred space to return to, you can accumulate the spiritual resilience needed to rise above the noise.
