Country music icon Dolly Parton has passed away at 80. Her nephew Bryan Seaver shared the news in an Instagram video, saying the announcement was something Parton had asked him to make years ago. Parton was the best-selling female country artist of all time, with more than 160 million albums sold worldwide, and was known for hits including “Jolene,” “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You.” Her passing comes just days after she publicly addressed ongoing health issues, saying she was still recovering but continuing to work.
