Aguest lecture was conducted at SA Engineering College on the topic  ‘Admixtures In Concrete’ on February 27, organised by the Department of Civil Engineering.
The Head of the Department, V Jai Ganesh felicitated the chief guest, R N Krishna, CEO, KC Contech, Chennai.

He delivered an inspiring lecture that was highly appreciated by  the Civil Engineering students.
The lecture was on the concepts of various types of admixtures and also their applicability in ready-mix concrete techniques.
 The methodological approach involved in the process was elaborately discussed and the updated parameters were highlighted.

The need for usage of the admixtures in present construction processes was explained.
The necessity and importance of IS standards to be followed were stressed and the continuous updation of civil engineering knowledge was highlighted.
He also discussed his field experiences and shared innovative ideas which motivated the
final-year students to strive for their future career.
