Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayCNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten revealed Thursday that he can’t find anyone as popular as Joe Rogan is with young Republicans.
Rogan holds a net popularity of +62 points among Republicans, those who lean toward the GOP and those who voted for Donald Trump in 2024 who are between the ages of 18 and 44, according to Enten, who cited polling from The New York Times.
He’s “far more popular” with the demographic than Trump (+28 points) and “way more popular” with them than Tucker Carlson (+18 points), he added.
“If you want to appeal to young Republicans, the place you want to go to is you want to go on Joe Rogan’s podcast,” said Enten, whose segment aired less than a day after Vice President JD Vance appeared on the show.
Vance used his spot on the “Joe Rogan Experience” to toss blame at former Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files. He walked a tightrope of sorts while defending Trump’s unpopular Iran war, as well.
Later in the segment, Enten noted that Rogan is also in the good graces of voters who didn’t cast a ballot in the 2024 election, holding a net favorability of +12 points.
The Democratic Socialists of America, by comparison, hold a net favorability of -22 points with the cohort, per polling from the Times and Marquette University Law School.
Rogan — when stacked up against likely 2028 presidential candidates Vance and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) — is on the “positive side of the ledger,” holding a net favorability of +2 points among all voters, Enten said.
Vance, meanwhile, sits at -11 points, while Newsom’s net favorability is -19 points.
