Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayJimmy Kimmel highlighted one of the key points President Donald Trump made during his rally speech on Wednesday: He always keeps his word.
“I always do what I say; when you look back, promises made, promises kept,” Trump said in San Antonio.
“That’s right. Promises made,” Kimmel said. “If you look back, if you were to look back, let’s say if you were to look back to one year ago today, you will see promises made, promises kept.”
The late-night host showed a clip from last year when Trump said gas would be under $2 per gallon.
“Oh, sorry. That isn’t correct. The average price of gasoline is $4.36. Sorry,” Kimmel said. “You know, a lot of people don’t know the word bullshit has a B in it.”
Kimmel then featured a more recent broken promise from Trump about the administration’s use of taxpayer money to pay for TV advertisements that promote his political message. On Monday, Trump announced on Truth Social that he’d pay for the ads himself. However, on Tuesday, a White House spokesperson said that the “president’s Truth was not referring to reimbursement.”
“There’s just so much lying and stealing. It gives you a headache, and you can’t even take Tylenol anymore,” Kimmel said.
