After nearly five years of litigation—and months of repeated delays in obtaining a hearing date—we have finally been advised that the defendants’ Motion to Strike has been re-scheduled. We encourage you to join us and invite others as this is a matter of great public interest:

As many of you know, Action4Canada filed its newly amended Notice of Civil Claim in December 2024. A hearing was originally scheduled for October 20, 2025, but was cancelled due to the lawyers’ strike. Since then, despite repeated attempts to secure a new date, court scheduling delays have continued to postpone the matter.

We are encouraged that the case is finally moving forward and remain fully committed to seeing this important constitutional challenge through.
