William Pitt said, “Where Law Ends, Tyranny Begins.”
Liberalism in the law is a form of tyranny. There is no justice when a Democrat or far-left liberal is a judge, district attorney, mayor, governor, senator, president, or in any position of power.
When discussing the First Amendment, someone will always remind you that while freedom of speech is a right of every American, you still can’t yell fire in a crowded theatre. The obvious implication is that you could cause a panic that could easily result in someone being injured.
The law is interpreted differently today. It is still illegal to yell fire in a theatre or any crowded place, but now you wouldn’t be prosecuted under free speech restrictions. Today, there are a number of laws you would be prosecuted under.
Such as:
- Reckless endangerment: Creating a substantial risk of physical injury to others.
- Disorderly conduct: Disrupting public peace and safety.
- Civil liability: You can be sued for financial damage if anyone is injured in the stampede.
So, how is it that a mob of anti-ICE agitators can storm a Minneapolis church during Sunday services and not be prosecuted because the left-wing lawyer overseeing the case refused to press charges? A decision that gives leftist rioters a license to terrorize churchgoers at will.
On Wednesday, St. Paul City Attorney Irene Kao stated that there was insufficient evidence to file state criminal charges against the anti-ICE protesters.
In sufficient evidence? Does this look like insufficient evidence?

According to the Associated Press, this was Kao’s mindless excuse for failing to prosecute them.
- “Our office has a legal and ethical obligation to file charges only when the available evidence establishes probable cause and supports a reasonable likelihood of conviction beyond a reasonable doubt.
- “Following a careful evaluation of the video footage, investigative reports, and other available materials, prosecutors determined that the current evidence is insufficient to meet that standard for criminal charges under Minnesota state statutes.”
She then added that her decision, “should not be interpreted as an endorsement of unlawful behavior or public disorder. The right to peacefully protest is protected, as is the right to exercise one’s religious beliefs. Balancing these equally important rights is paramount to our decision today.”
Right. Except the right to trespass and protest in the middle of a church service is definitely against the law, and this ignorant liberal knows it.
Could it be because these were anti-ICE protesters? Would her decision have been the same if they were protesting Pride Month, or some other ridiculous leftist delusion?
According to witnesses, the anti-ICE instigators “intimidated, harassed, oppressed, and terrorized the parishioners, including young children.”
One victim said the mob blocked the church exits and “made it nearly impossible for parishioners to get out and leave.”
Another victim reported that as frightened parents attempted to go downstairs to retrieve their children from the childcare area, the protesters obstructed the stairs so “the parents were unable to get their children.”
While advocating for the “rights” of Illegal aliens, violent extremists intimidated U.S. citizens and their families, jailed churchgoers, and infringed upon their religious freedoms.
Kao is nothing more than a gutless liberal who needs to be removed from her position. She is showing blatant favoritism for leftist instigators who obviously violated the law. Not only should they have been prosecuted for disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment, but they can also be prosecuted for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.
While normally enforced at clinics, the U.S. Department of Justice prosecutes under 18 U.S. Code § 248 when force, threats of force, or physical obstruction are used to intentionally injure, intimidate, or interfere with persons exercising their religious freedom at a place of worship.
In addition, the instigators also committed Conspiracy Against Rights, which provides that if a coordinated group plans the disruption, the DOJ may bring federal conspiracy charges under civil rights protections.
Kao deliberately ignored the law, which in her position means she violated it as well. However, another issue needs to be investigated. One of the protesters was Jamael Lundy, who just happens to be the husband of City Council member Anika Bowie. The case has drawn questions because the city attorney in this case, Kao, is appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
These facts indicate that there very well may have been a conflict of interest, and Kao should have sent the case outside of city hall.
Doug Wardlow, director of litigation for True North Legal and representing Cities Church, criticized the decision.
“This decision looks to be motivated by something other than a fair evaluation of the law and applying it to the facts, and we think that something should have been charged out here by the city attorney.”
Luckily, the U.S. Department of Justice is continuing to pursue federal civil rights charges against 39 individuals, including disgraced former CNN anchor Don Lemon, who, in a disgustingly condescending tone, confronted churchgoers while livestreaming the event.
Don Lemon is now STORMING churches and harassing pastors who support ICE deporting criminal illegal immigrants.
