PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayI used the assistant to "move to Toronto", "set the time to tonight" (which selected 8 pm which is fine) and then "look at Polaris".
The first two worked fine, but the last resulted in me looking at nadir, where there was a yellow disk. That did not look like where the sun would be at 8 PM (!!!), so I asked it to "look at the sun" and nothing changed.
Fixed! Looking at anything: planets, stars, ra/dec, should now work correctly
There was a rather fundamental issue to do with the inconsistent calculation of az/el for headings (cameras have negative heading, and this was not being correctly accounted for, leading to errors when patches to one heading calculation broke another)
This seems broken again.. I get an RA, Dec from Astrometry and ask Sitrec to point at it and it points wrong
Can you give a bit more detail? Where was the camera set to? What was the time? What RA, DEC values did you use? What star (roughly should it have been pointing to?
