Dr. Mehmet Oz, President Donald Trump’s administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, offered a flippant response to a MAGA-friendly reporter who asked if he has any medical guidance for people who suffer from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” during a White House press briefing on Tuesday.

“I am concerned about folks who have focused their entire life energy on dislike of the president. It’s disheartening to see people lost in that way but you know it’s ... ” Oz said, teeing up LindellTV White House reporter Cara Castronuova to ask, “Any medical advice?”

“Treating stupid is really hard and then it becomes a real problem and these folks are off,” the former TV personality responded.

Trump and his administration have frequently accused his critics and political foes of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Last month, Trump went to the extent of even calling “TDS” a “real disease” during a White House event on May 11, despite the fact that it has not been medically recognized as an actual condition.

“They’ve got serious Trump derangement, which actually is a disease. I’m hearing it is actually a disease. It’s an honor,” Trump said.
