Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist recently appeared on the FOX Business Network and said that when Democrats claim to reject the radical policies of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) that it’s a lie.

As evidence, she offers people like Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, who campaigned as a moderate and then turned around and began governing as a far left figure. She also brings up the example of Joe Biden who did the same.

Democrats love to claim that woke is over and they have evolved, but you’ve got multiple Democrats running in this cycle who are calling to defund police, abolish ICE, and open the borders.

The entire Democrat Party has embraced, not just the people of the DSA, but those policies. Rahm Emanuel is wrong when he says these far left policies have not been embraced by the Democrat Party.

We all witnessed it over the last six years when they would have beliefs about defunding the police and supporting candidates who did the same.

We have had this happen so often, when you have Democrats claim to be moderate, like Abigail Spanberger in Virginia, claims to be moderate and as soon as she became governor of Virginia, she governed like a DSA type person.

The big difference between DSA and other Democrats is whether you are being open and honest about precisely how much you embrace these left wing politics.

But the track record of Democrats – we all lived through the Biden presidency, for instance. What is the difference between Joe Biden and his belief that there should be no borders and no border control, and flooding the zone with tens of million of immigrants, legal or illegal in particular, and a standard DSA position?

Many people are no longer seeing that distinction because of the way the Democrats govern.
