Lebanese officials said over 100 children are among the 773 people who have been killed so far by Israeli airstrikes.

The UN chief Antonio Guterres has launched a $300m appeal to support the hundreds of thousands of displaced people in Lebanon.

Mr Guterres arrived in Beirut on Friday for a “solidarity visit” and said the money would provide life-saving assistance over the next three months.
