Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWhether you're nominally anti-'drug war' or pro 'drug war', one thing is certain: President Trump has made the 'drug war' a literal one involving military force;

I just found out a six-person boat with suspected narco-terrorists was sent to 'Davy Jones’ Locker’—sunk today by American armed forces. Under President Trump, the 'war on drugs' demonized by leftists and libertarians has become a literal shooting war.

It's even spawned a new military alliance against narco-terrorism in this hemisphere called, 'Shield of the Americas'.
Trump revamps war on drugs with ‘Shield of the Americas’ endeavor (The Hill, March 7, 2026).
This administration is unburdened by paternalism afflicting both sides of the aisle. In the past, both the left and right treated Latin American drug traffickers like naughty children. 'Lest we forget, no other Republican president has declared these organizations to be terrorists except Donald Trump. Regardless of where I differ with him, this is absolutely the right call.
Latin American narco-terrorism hollowed my community out when most of us were teenagers. As 21st century seniors, we face a reanimated corpse of a community powered by free fire zone ferocity and fentanyl, courtesy of countries from 'south of the border'.
We also see suburban, exurban and rural areas reeling from debilitating addiction and death hitting families far removed from the same struggle in the 'Hood. Now that distant middle and upper income families feel mass hopelessness of addicted relatives, long overdue military action has begun.
I don't want anyone strung out on drugs or dodging dueling drug dealers' bullets. That's the 'war outside my door ' as I've called it. At least now scales of justice are balanced a little bit. A final price is currently exacted instead of excuses being made.
Trump's literal 'war on drugs' can't bring back lives lost and standards destroyed in Black America. It's largely too late on that front. But perhaps he can stop this from happening in other communities? No sane person wants a narco-terrorized state where drug dealers are royalty. That's what we see on this continent in too many countries.
Latin American narco-terrorists took away the stable community my generation grew up in. An unsympathetic society considered us to be acceptable losses, if one is brutally honest.

What isn't acceptable is the sheer scale of operations narco-terrorists have been allowed to enjoy up to this decisive moment.
Whether you're nominally anti-'drug war' or pro 'drug war', one thing is certain: President Trump has made the 'drug war' a literal one involving military force.
Quite a game changer, regardless of where you stand on the issue.
