Colbert kicked off his show by highlighting a recent Gallup poll showing the president’s job approval rating was down to 36%, a new low for his second term, while his disapproval rating had jumped to 60%.

“Which is why Trump has started to wear a new hat: ‘More Popular Than Syphilis,’” quipped Colbert while airing a mock graphic of the president’s MAGA hat. “Penicillin won’t help with him!”

Colbert also noted that Trump was “underwater in every category” before tossing to a recent YouGov poll that showed the president’s unpopularity on issues like the economy, health care, the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, education and the environment.

“I just found that Donald Trump is also the most hated ‘Zootopia’ character, the lowest-rated mid-sized sedan and the least popular Oreo flavor: ‘Double-Stuf Cankle,’” he joked.
