Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayFearing pain during childbirth is a common statement from women, but I believe that knowing the difference between pain (physical) and suffering (mental/emotional) is a key point in preparing for childbirth. Suffering is what typically drives the negative feelings associated from childbirth - suffering from lack of support, self-inflicted suffering from not staying present, suffering from past trauma - but is something we have a bit of control over. We can surround ourselves with an amazing and supportive team, do education on the topic, see a mental health professional and practice mindfulness. Suffering doesn't have to be a part of your birth story.
