Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway
Hi Everyone,
I recorded this video yesterday and released it to Youtube this morning. It is a distillation of the themes I covered in my most recent Fireside Chat Podcast.
It’s fascinating in a way to see how the Youtube public reacts to these videos, and this one in particular. Most of you probably know that I try to limit my public statements these days on the wider global situation. This, despite having studied that longer than I have studied UFOs. And the reason is not hard to understand: that area is so incredibly divisive, and it’s mostly a separate topic from UFOs, so the question would naturally be, why bother at all?
And for that reason I’ve mostly avoided it there, and to some extent here too. However, I am convinced that the two areas are not completely divorced from each other. They have certain important relations to each other. Second, the geopolitical and societal transformations going on in our world are genuinely important, and I have come to believe that I have certain relevant things to say about them, totally independently of UFOs. So I venture into the subject every so often.
What’s interesting to me are the reactions I see in the public Youtube comments. Certainly there are people who applaud my research and perspective. But there are others who really, really take exception to it.
Now, if you are a public figure in any way — someone whose thoughts about the world go out there for public consumption — you can’t let negative reactions sway you against doing it. There will always be people who disagree, and even despise, what you have to say. That is unavoidable. The best I can do is to be respectful of all positions, to be as careful as I know how to be, and keep my perspective as “UFO relevant” as I can. I think I do that here. But it’s clear that I will never, ever satisfy everyone.
What I tried to do here, as well as in many recent videos on this site, is to be original. Always to be original, to develop relevant IDEAS for our field of study, and for our understanding of our world. Those ideas may not always be on point or correct, but that is always my goal.
I hope you find this one to be interesting and helpful.
Richard
