No, that title is not exaggeration. There have been many skirmishes in recent years as investigations in multiple states have exposed numerous cases of voter fraud and election manipulation. Some hotbeds such as Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, among others stand out, but they are not exceptions. They are merely more visible examples of the deeper conflict.

On Thursday, July 16, Donald Trump fired the opening shot in the war against election fraud. Since then, Democrats, mainstream media, left wing "journalists" and many others have called him a liar, have tried to discredit the evidence he presented, and have generally tried to bury the truth. Just as in other wars, once attacked, the enemy will try to fight back. The weapons are different, but the response is the same.

Congress has been fighting on the side of the enemy for months. It is only to be expected of the Democrat faction since they have benefitted mightily from election fraud. Several Democrats have even admitted to promoting fraud, claiming that it was necessary to overcome Republican cheating. Given that numerous investigations have shown that Democrats have benefitted from election fraud by more than thirty to one, that excuse hardly holds water.

The Senate has been playing a delaying game, hoping to postpone having to make a decision on the SAVE act until it is too late. We can expect the 47 Democrats to oppose a measure that would cut off a major portion of their support. Without at least some of them voting in favor, the 60 vote majority necessary for its passage is out of reach, even if all the Republicans were to support the measure.

Unless the Senate leadership takes action to eliminate the filibuster, at least for the SAVE act, in the next two weeks or so, Congress will recess until mid-September. There is a slim possibility that provisions of the SAVE act can be passed as part of the reconciliation process, but that is also unlikely. Once Congress goes on recess, nothing can happen until they return.

Many congress members see the SAVE act as a no-win proposal. If they don't pass it, our November midterms will be rife with fraud so that we will never know who was truly elected, only who was selected. If they do pass it, the Left will likely explode with false claims of voter suppression, of partisanship, and even intimidation and violence fueled by all the virulent hate they can muster—which is quite a bit these days. They will work overtime to see that the supporters don't get reelected.

If congress holds off until they return from recess, they can then claim that they want to pass it, but it is too late for the November elections. Better to wait for later—or never.

By waiting, Congress can avoid a position on the SAVE act, and thus can avoid any blame or accountability. That would have the sinister effect of putting Trump in yet another set of crosshairs. It would force all the responsibility for a decision on Trump.

If he decides not to take action, then we would go into the November midterms with all the mechanisms for massive election fraud firmly in place. Votes recorded for non-citizens, deceased voters, voters registered at unqualified locations, voter registrations restored to the rolls after the voter moved, and all the other corruptions of our voter rolls will be used in conjunction with vote by mail schemes, ballot theft, ballot harvesting, drop box stuffing, to name just a few.

The internet connected systems will be used in conjunction with both state actor and local hacking to alter vote totals, duplicate and even manufacture ballots, assign fraudulent ballots to fictional voters on the rolls, and perform many other manipulations that so many good investigators have seen and reported.

The result will be an election that likely swings both houses of Congress to Democrat majorities, with consequences we will look at below. Needless to say, it would be a potentially fatal blow to our Nation.

On the other hand, Trump could take Executive action. While the Constitution is clear that Congress has the authority to establish election rules that the States must follow, it is less clear what a President can do. His principal authority lies in his Constitutional obligation to ensure the laws of the Nation are upheld. There are many laws that address various forms of election fraud, but most of them did not anticipate the potential for massive fraud enabled by our modern electronic systems.

If Trump were to act, say by issuing an Executive Order, or more strongly, by declaring a State of Emergency and mandating the provisions of the SAVE act, it would be knives out! Trump would be called authoritarian, autocratic, despotic, a threat to democracy, Fascist, Nazi, and every other pejorative the Left could think of.

Thousands of lawsuits would be filled, judges would issue injunctions to hold off implementation of the SAVE provisions until after the elections, if ever. Articles of impeachment would be filed in Congress. In short, the Left would use every means at its disposal to ensure that the November elections were NOT safe, secure, honest and trustworthy.

They are highly motivated since their livelihood, and even very existence depend on being able to bend elections to their ends.

There are a number of naive 'Republications' who think that if we can just mobilize the base, we can get enough votes to overcome the effects of fraud. With the current capabilities for massive systemic fraud, that is a fantasy. If the left has to create votes for 125% of the registered voters, if they have to hack the systems to switch every Republican vote to Democrat, if they have to collect every ballot mailed to a fictional voter and "vote" them, then that is what we can expect. Once ballots are counted and totals announced, there is no effective way to change the outcome it it is determined that the count bears no relationship to reality.

Earlier I wrote that there were consequences if we failed to pass the SAVE act, or otherwise managed to fix the gaping holes in our elections before this November. It's time to look at what we might expect from failure.

Democrats have already said that if they took the House, they would immediately file articles of impeachment against Trump. If they gain the Senate as well, they might even succeed in conviction. That would mean he would be immediately removed from office. Vance would take over, and would likely also be impeached. The process could continue until a Democrat was installed as President - potentially within a month or so after the new Congress was sworn in.

That would put an immediate stop to all the MAGA reforms of the last few years. Furthermore, all the Green New Deal policies, all the funding of NGOs with taxpayer dollars, reopening of our borders, wealth taxes on the middle class, an expanded Supreme Court with a majority of liberal judges, and potentially even repeal of the Second Amendment could follow in relatively short order.

This is not alarmist speculation. All these things and more have been planned and announced as immediate priorities if Democrats regain control of Congress.

Since the House is responsible for budget matters, they could restore funding to all the Somali and Haitian and other immigrant fraud schemes. Funding for Israel would be killed. Numerous Socialist redistribution schemes would be approved, ones that make Obamacare pale by comparison. Again, all these and more have been announced as priorities.

Some have gone so far as to express the intention to use the power of government to round up and imprison MAGA members and supporters, much as the J6 people were persecuted.

Most people I meet think that a Socialist takeover couldn't happen here so fears of what might happen in November are overblown. The Russians before the October Revolution didn't think it could happen there, but it did in the span of a few short months. Most Chinese prior to Mao's Long March thought it couldn't happen there. Likewise with Cuba before Castro. I have known several Iranians who less than fifty years ago didn't think there could be an Islamist takeover, yet it happened virtually overnight.

Ronald Reagan said: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." I would say that we are never more than one election away from tyranny...or a civil war to preserve our freedom. Shall we act now to restore trust and honesty in our elections, or will we go quietly into that dark night as we extinguish the light of freedom. Can we keep our Republic?
