I have a short video on this. I am trying to discuss this as neutrally as I can.
Seen from a longer view (last 20 years or more) the current US–Israel war with Iran is not a sudden crisis. And I doubt it will unfold the way its architects expect. You’ve got the public rhetoric, which is all about nuclear containment. However, there is clearly a deeper strategy here: political regime change, pursued through military force at a moment when diplomacy was still nominally in play.
The consequences of this war will immediately go beyond the battlefields and civilian deaths. I imagine they will very quickly affect energy markets, global alignments, and long-term stability. In this video, I discuss my own reasons why I think this war is strategically unwise and why escalation risks are being underestimated.
But the last ten minutes or so address how the climate of secrecy and crisis may also affect the already fragile prospects for meaningful UAP disclosure.
I hope you find this interesting.
