White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino posted the footage showing off the makeover:
Trump is so obsessed with the Oval Office makeover that he’s done some of it himself, as detailed in the book “Regime Change” by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.
Trump, they wrote, used superglue to personally attach golden embellishments to the Oval Office fireplace mantel.
“As he was known to prefer his own aesthetic handiwork to anyone else’s, the sight of the president squeezing glue onto gilded appliqués and mounting them on the wall himself surprised no one in his inner circle,” they added.

Trump has had gold and other embellishments added throughout the White House, including just outside the doors.
He also paved over the Rose Garden, transforming it into a “club” similar to his Mar-a-Lago patio.
And last year, he knocked down the East Wing to make room for a massive ballroom, which he has publicly obsessed over.
The latest footage brought out the critics on X, and they panned the Oval Office’s shiny new look:
