Orgo-Life the new way to the future

President Donald Trump on Monday followed up his wild Sunday posting spree with dozens of new messages, memes, rants and attacks on Labor Day.

But he probably should have taken a closer look at one of the videos he shared ― because it wasn’t quite what it appeared.

Trump shared a month-old clip of RFD-TV’s “Cow Guy Close” in which “Cow Guy” Scott Shellady and T.J. Wilson of the Trump-aligned America First Policy Institute heaped praise on the president while they bashed former President Joe Biden as they discussed inflation.

“At least we’re getting something from this higher inflation,” Shellady said as he called the current price hikes a “small tax” that Americans can pay to disarm a “big terrorist country.”

But as the two spoke, the news ticker at the bottom of the screen seemed determined to undermine them, at least a little.

One item noted that inflation continues to rise, albeit at a slower monthly rate. Another pointed out that food prices are 3% higher than a year ago, and energy prices are up 14.7%.

And in what might be Trump’s biggest embarrassment, the ticker pointed to a recall of 30,000 pounds of beef imported from Argentina.

Trump has paused tariffs on beef from Argentina, Brazil and other countries to bring in meat below market prices in an attempt to cut the cost of groceries ― but critics say that move both hurts American ranchers and could lead to an influx of low-quality meats.

MeidasTouch has screenshots of some of the highlights:

OOPS: Apparently Trump/Natalie didn't read the ticker at the bottom of whatever strange show they posted a clip from...

Some of the headlines:

– "THE LATEST CONSUMER PRICE INDEX SHOWS INFLATION CONTINUED TO RISE IN JULY..."

– "PRICES WERE UP 3.4% FROM A YEAR AGO. FOOD PRICES… pic.twitter.com/qgHcwVZnHy
