Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump put a new spin on his “sir” stories on Wednesday.
This time, the person calling him by that honorific was his own wife.
Speaking at a rally in Texas, Trump lashed out at Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico by calling him a “vegan.” Talarico is not a vegan, but Trump has repeatedly made that claim anyway. He usually mispronounces “vegan” as “vay-gun,” which is something late-night host Jimmy Kimmel mocked him for earlier this week.
Trump got it right on Wednesday, and said that was because of an intervention by first lady Melania Trump.
“My wife told me, ‘Sir, do me a favor, you have to do me just a little bit of a favor. It’s not vay-gun, it’s vegan,’” he recalled. “How the hell would I know? I like steak!”
The formal names seem to go both ways. Last year, Trump said he likes to address Melania as “first lady” because it reminds him that he’s the president.
Trump frequently tells stories in which people call him “sir,” often with tears in their eyes as they weep in his presence. He didn’t mention tears in this case.
Critics on social media, however, had some tears of their own ― tears of laughter at the odd way the first lady speaks to her husband:
Trump has now reached the stage of marriage where he's inventing conversations to prove his wife speaks to him. Does she call him “Sir” before or after sending him an invoice? https://t.co/QKHA9QAQCJ

(1) All of the “Sir” stories are fake, or
(2) Melania’s relationship with Trump is even weirder than you thought https://t.co/Gsxg4ajFmo
Sir stories are always fake, but Melania calling him Sir is next level fake.
