President Donald Trump gushed to voters that a member of Congress who has been missing from Capitol Hill for months is his guy in the New Jersey primary on Tuesday.

Despite the disappearing act, the president wrote that Rep. Tom Kean Jr. (R-N.J.) is “working tirelessly” and “WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Kean has not voted in Congress since March 5 and has since missed more than 100 floor votes.

Kean told the New Jersey Globe on May 21 that he had an unspecified illness but is “on the road to a full recovery.”

“I understand the need for public transparency, and I appreciate the support of my constituents,” Kean added.

Despite the mystery, Trump threw his full-throated support to Kean on Truth Social.

“Congressman Tom Kean is a Great Representative for the People of New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District!” the president wrote.

“A Tremendous Advocate of our America First Agenda, Tom is working tirelessly to Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Champion Small Business, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Support our Brave Military and Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.”

“Tom Kean has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. Election Day is Tuesday, June 2nd. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR TOM — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” the president continued.

Kean, who’s running unopposed in the primary, is seeking reelection in “one of the most competitive House races in the country,” The New York Times wrote. Republicans are trying to stave off power losses in both chambers of Congress in the November midterms.

The Times used its considerable resources to try to find Kean but came up with nothing.
