If you get a job, but then later on your employer finds out that you lied about everything on your application, you are going to get fired.

So why then is Ilhan Omar, if that’s even her real name, still in the United States Congress?

The Gateway Pundit reported,

Republican Congressman Randy Fine of Florida is already planning an effort to expel Ilhan Omar from Congress if he is found guilty of immigration fraud.

It’s almost unbelievable that this is happening. Not that Omar may have committed immigration fraud, but that it was even allowed to happen. How did this person run for Congress in the first place, when people didn’t even know her real name?

If she is ultimately expelled from Congress, what happens to all of the legislation she is connected to? we are in uncharted waters.

Per FOX News,

Fine, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, made the comments after Fox News Digital reported that a federal court filing identified Omar under the name “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi,” also listing “Ilhan Abdullahi Omar” as an alias. The filing has raised questions about Omar’s identity and immigration records but does not establish that she committed fraud.

“I assume that she’s not a citizen, so we might not even have to do that,” Fine said. “You can’t be in Congress if you’re not a citizen of the United States, but if it isn’t automatic, I absolutely will demand expulsion immediately.”

Omar is a naturalized U.S. citizen. She was born in Somalia and became a U.S. citizen in 2000. She has denied wrongdoing and called the investigation politically motivated.

If it is the case that we have a high profile member of Congress that has lied on her immigration and naturalization paperwork, we have serious issues.

Our laws cannot be made by people who aren’t even supposed to be here.
