In LSD and the Mind of the Universe, Christopher Bache describes a moment in one of his high-dose psychedelic sessions when all of his former lives came to him and fused, and an explosion of diamond light broke from his chest. He calls it the birth of the diamond soul. Tami Simon asks him to explain what he means. Reincarnation, in his worldview, is a simple fact of life, and it accumulates. When we incarnate we forget our deeper identity and become small. When we die we open and become large again. Small, large, small, large, for thousands of years. In that session his former lives came into him like a filament winding onto a kite spool, and they fused. The fusion released a pure white diamond energy that carried him into a level of reality deeper than any he had reached before. He was still an individual there. But an individual without boundaries of any kind, larger than he had ever known a self could be. He understood it as the next stage of human evolution. We have been gestating the future form of humanity for thousands of years, he says. Gestation is long. Labour is short and intense and dangerous. He believes this is the century of the birth of a higher consciousness within humanity, the point where the whole platform of human awareness shifts to that of the soul. The prototypes are already here. The saints and sages speak from a level of awareness clearly beyond most people. Love your enemies? What? Are you sure? Want to go deeper with Christopher Bache?
