Zohran Mamdani, the newly elected mayor of New York City, delivered a victory speech on Election Night, marking a historic moment as the city’s first Muslim and South Asian mayor.
Speaking to a crowd at the Brooklyn Paramount Theater, Mamdani declared the win a “mandate for change” and a rejection of politics “that answers only to the few.”

The Democrats complete sweep at the polls of all the hand-picked Trump candidates represents a total rebuke of Trump and his policies.
One might extend that rebuke to include his arrogant posture and behavior.
However, according to early Wednesday news clips, Trump merely shook it off. Instead, he blamed the radical left. As a tried and true narcissist and egomaniac who cannot deal with defeat, much less reality, he just moves on. Today he is celebrating one year ago and his then Presidential election victory. This morning he is selling his Trump watches in TV commercials.
I would argue that this electoral beat down is Strike 1 in the Trump chronicles. Today could represent a high water mark in the Terrific Tremendous Trump Train Tragedy. The next most important issue, Strike 2, affecting the nation is the Supreme Court decision on tariffs (what would happen to the stock market if the Supreme Court decision says refund the money?). Strike 3 would be the Midterms coming up one year from now. I would suggest Vance step aside so as not to be washed away in the flood of anti-Trump measures certain to come after the Dems can smell blood in the water.
The real news is the Supreme Court hearing the Trump Tariff case. Trump: the “failure of the Court to agree to my Tariffs will ruin” the nation. The Prosecution: Approving the Tariffs will override Congress’ power to tax and will turn the President into a king. In a tribute to CNBC the network is broadcasting the audio portion of the hearing.

CNN reports the Trump Administration is advancing its Plan for the Gaza Administration creation that completely ignores the discussions of the Arab partners have on the same subject as to who should oversee Gaza. The Arab partners include Hamas in the Administration Control group. That feature will surely point to a conflict between the Trump Administration Presidency and that of Turkey’s “local member” Presidency requirement. That conflict is sure to bump heads with the “immediate deployment” feature wanted by all parties.
The wars Trump promised to immediately end with his coronation are still no where close to being resolved. Has Trump simply moved on from this human tragedy?
