Jon Stewart on Thursday scorched right-wing critics for going easy on President Donald Trump for being buddy-buddy with Saudi royalty in recent years.

“Are people surprised by it? Are people — ‘I cannot believe that the head of Apple ― all the different — would sit at a state dinner with the guy who is funneling billions and billions of dollars into their businesses?’” Stewart asked.

Stewart then explained the “whole fucking thing” about bin Salman’s trip to the U.S., a visit that included a playful exchange between the prince and Trump during an Oval Office meeting.

Stewart noted how conservative critics turn a blind eye to Trump’s relationships with the Saudis, even though they lost it over New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s picture with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a suspected co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. (Note: The imam was never charged.) Some of Mamdani’s critics claimed he sides with terrorists and celebrates violence, like the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Stewart, a staunch advocate for 9/11 first responders, also commented on people who slammed his “Daily Show” interview with the Democratic socialist. Imitating his critics, Stewart said: ”‘He’s talking pleasantly with Mamdani, you know, this is a guy — has he forgotten 9/11?’ First of all, fuck you! Fuck you to the highest order of fucking you that you can be fucked.”

“Your guy hosted a LIV Golf tournament in the shadow of the towers with the Saudis and palled around with them. So again, let me repeat myself, fuck you!”
