Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayCNN Republican heel Scott Jennings said Donald Trump’s 1,300-word rant at Bill Maher was “miraculous” ― along with the president’s other written and verbal screeds.
Trump slammed the “Real Time” host on Truth Social Sunday after Maher made both negative and positive comments about his recent second dinner with the president. Trump called Maher a “COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER” and “gutless” in a post said to be his longest ever.
“Explain this to me,” fill-in host Michael Smerconish asked Jennings Monday on CNN’s “NewsNight.” “If it had been a paragraph long, we’d have still talked about it, right? Why the length? What’s going on with this?”
Jennings replied, “I mean, our president has a lot to say about this. He’s very loquacious.”
Smerconish asked, “Why?”
Jennings answered, “I don’t know, but I think it’s sort of miraculous that the president of the United States issues such detailed missives about all sorts of things going on in our culture. He does the same thing in front of the press when they come and ask him questions. He goes on at length about things. You can call Donald Trump a lot of things. One thing you can never say about him is we don’t know what’s on his mind.”
Another panelist cracked, “What’s left of his mind.”
Jennings replied, “Oh, come on.”
Jennings continued, “By the way, and I have to say, I kind of like Bill Maher. I mean, Bill Maher has been basically a rational actor. I used to not like him that much, but he has become a rational actor trying to tell the left, like my buddy Van (Jones) here, trying to pull them back from the brink of insanity. A very rational guy. So, I don’t know why he’s so upset with him.”
Last week Trump claimed he doesn’t ramble. And then, of course, he rambled.
“I hope you’re having a good time today! ’Cause I’m in a good mood!” the president said at a midterm rally. “I’m in a very good mood. I hope you’re having a good time. Is everybody having a good time? Because the fake news would say, ‘He rambled.’ I don’t ramble. I got ten — I know everything I’m so — I got aptitude that they dream about, so you know, they’ll say he rambled. No, no, as long as the stories keep coming back. You know. As long as — no, but I just — I’m in a good mood today. Think of it. I won the presidency.”
