Donald Trump planned to secure Russian support for an attack on Iran in exchange for “handing over” Ukrainian territories that, in opinion polls conducted before 2014, identified much more strongly with Russia than with the European Union.

After cutting off China’s supply of Venezuelan oil by simply seizing it from Venezuela, and after blocking the transport routes for Iranian oil shipments to China, the USA only needed that Russia—China’s largest supplier of oil and natural gas—starts using this position to cooperate with the USA in subjugation of China to the USA by deciding whether or not China would have sufficient energy resources for its industry. However, it was clear to Russia, as well as to China, that Donald Trump was playing for American domination of the entire world, and for that matter they did not abandon Iran during the U.S. attack on it.

China, which likely acquired hypersonic missile technology from Russia, has apparently decided to supply it to Iran.

Otherwise, it is difficult to explain why, on the night of July 13, 2026, Iran carried out a successful attack on U.S. military bases in the Middle East, which were undoubtedly defended by the U.S. Patriot system, capable of intercepting ballistic missiles. Trump’s approach to negotiating a peace agreement with Iran makes it clear that he is aware Iran could even destroy his fleet near the Iranian coast. At the same time, however, he does not want to give up on the idea of subjugating Iran and China and ending up by controlling the whole world. If China gave Iran the go-ahead to destroy the U.S. naval fleet in the Middle East, Donald Trump would have to decide whether he wants to be a defeated superpower or whether he will attack Iran with nuclear weapons. A such a decision would also force Russia and China to make a similar choice, with the difference being that they would have to decide whether to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S., or at least on its military bases and fleet in the Middle East, in order to free Iran from American efforts to subjugate it.

The situation is similar in Ukraine. The European Union, still backed by the U.S., is supplying Ukraine with American weapons and manufacturing thousands of drones for it, which Ukraine uses not only on the front lines but also to cut off supplies to the Russian army in territories, where large margin of population preferred to be part of Russia before the war that started in 2014. In 2025, the Ukrainian army destroyed just under 100 Russian trucks every day, and recently that number has reached as high as 500. Russia sends 5,000 to 10,000 suicide drones every day toward Ukrainian battle lines on the front, of which Ukraine destroys around 2,000. Ukraine is increasingly carrying out successful attacks on the Russian defense industry and Russian oil refineries deep within Russian territory, as well as on ships and tankers in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

Just as the U.S. does in Iran, Russia is now faced with a choice in Ukraine: whether to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine in order to definitively reclaim territories that are historically part of Russia and that rose up against their integration into the European Union at a time when an illegitimate government had seized power in Ukraine and decided to integrate all of Ukraine into the European Union. By defeating Russia in this region, the European Union aims to pave the way for further expansion into Eastern Europe and Central Asia, where Russia had ruled for roughly 300 years until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Due to the unwillingness of the world’s superpowers to stop fighting for power and world domination, the world and the entire development of global civilization face the danger of being destroyed in a global nuclear war. Unfortunately, there is as yet no visible willingness anywhere to begin negotiations on the creation of a collective security system that would prevent the outbreak of a nuclear war. The West is currently on the offensive, but the East has sufficient resources to deter it. For now, the U.S. and the EU are resolutely continuing their continuing their ill-considered attacks in an attempt to conquer new territories and dominate the world, instead of discussing a safe world.
