PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayTami Simon asks for Tara Brach's pith instructions for something specific: what to do with excruciating pain in the heart when you are someone who has carried trauma and has to go at your own speed. She describes what actually happens for her. She feels the pain, and within seconds she is out, scrolling, doing something productive. Ow. No way. Tara's first instruction is to forgive and honour that no. If it feels like too much, it feels like too much. We need lots of breaks from trying to feel, and there are gentler, more nourishing ways in for people in real pain: lying down outside on the earth, leaning against a tree, the company of a pet, grounding practices that help us feel rooted and part of something. Because trauma, in her account, is about disconnection. It is a feeling of complete separateness that is anguish. And the healing is always some form of reconnection, with the earth, with another person, with a sense of spirit, with your own heart. It is always about reconnecting. So the question she asks people is not what fixes it. It is what helps, even a tiny, tiny bit. What she finds is that even inside huge pain there is a tendril of connection, something that helps. Some beauty, some pet, some spiritual figure, some person who is loved. She builds from there, from wherever there is still some access to feeling connected. That is called resourcing. And building a sense of safety and nourishment first is what gives us the capacity, later, to widen the circles and feel more at home in ourselves and in the world. Want to go deeper with Tara Brach?
