Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe White House on Tuesday tried to shame a CNN reporter ― this time for a lighthearted video in which she dances en route to an assignment.
Clarissa Ward, the news network’s chief international correspondent, shared the Instagram of her apparently en route to cover Wednesday’s total solar eclipse from Mallorca, Spain.
Watch her video here.
Vibing to Peaches & Herb’s “Shake Your Groove Thing,” she runs through a transit hub, dances on a train, mugs for the camera and playfully takes a vape hit before being met with a hug from two CNN colleagues.
But Trump’s Rapid Response 47 squad melted down over her harmless fun.
“Imagine being a self-described ‘serious’ journalist at CNN and acting like a complete freak in public, embarrassing yourself all for some social media clicks,” they wrote over the video. “Honey, nobody wants to watch that hot mess. @clarissaward”

Ward saw her touch of whimsy quite differently in the caption with her footage:
“When you get an assignment that is just good fun…. Feeling PUMPED! Can you tell? 🤣💃🤪 Drinks on me for anyone who can guess what I’m going to cover. Actually, there are some pretty blatant clues in there so you might have to settle for a like. ✌️and 💗 and remember, if you’re not laughing your ass off and making a tit out of yourself, you’re doing this wrong!!”
Perhaps Trump’s White House team was merely taking a cue from the boss. Trump has repeatedly attacked reporters, especially women. CNN’s Kaitlan Collins has been one of the most frequent recipients of the president’s barbs.
