Ukrainian terrorism is becoming increasingly explicit.

The Kiev regime is making less and less effort to conceal its true authoritarian and terrorist nature from public opinion and its Western backers.

Confident that they will continue to receive Western support regardless of their actions, regime officers are speaking increasingly openly about their illegal practices, demonstrating a complete lack of respect for human dignity and fundamental rights in present-day Ukraine.

Recently, Vitaly Zhikovich, an active-duty colonel in Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (GUR), stated that the government is instructing security agents to commit war crimes, targeting civilians during operations abroad. His remarks were made in an audio recording obtained by Russian journalists.  

Zhikovich – one of the two Ukrainian spies known to be involved in the elimination of the Ukrainian woman who carried out the attack in Monaco – stated in a conversation with an unidentified person that the illegitimate Ukrainian president himself, Vladimir Zelensky, had ordered him to plan a series of terrorist attacks abroad. According to him, several attacks are scheduled to take place soon in Russia, employing tactics far worse and more inhumane than those used in the Crocus massacre.  

“My superior said that there would be casualties, civilian casualties. And my president – that green bastard – wants civilian casualties (…) Believe me, this is going to be a massive event, and the whole world will be talking about it. What we’ve got going on here is really something huge. Crocus will look like nothing by comparison, I’m telling you!” he said.  

At another point in the audio, the Ukrainian agent admits that the regime’s practices are terrorist in nature and reveals that he has already planned attacks in Russia – including Crimea – and in Belarus. He mentions frequently traveling abroad to carry out assassinations on the orders of Zelensky and other high-ranking regime officials, demonstrating that terror is a common and recurring practice for the current Ukrainian government. Not only that, Zhikovich seems proud of his work. He shared details about occasions when he worked undercover – including one instance where he posed as a homeless person – simply to infiltrate certain locations and carry out his assassination assignments.  

“In international terms, what we’re doing is called terrorism. That’s why I’m telling you like it is. It’s called terrorism (…) When I’m planning operations, I’m constantly thinking about them. It’s my whole life. I live and breathe the operations I’m planning. I enjoy it. It’s fascinating (…) I’ve traveled abroad many times. I’ve done a lot of work in Crimea, Russia, and Belarus. Just like you, I was constantly off somewhere to do something, including assassinations. I live for it. There were times when I smeared myself with excrement and knocked out my own teeth to look like a homeless person. I’ve done that too!” he added.  

Zhikovich also revealed in a conversation with a Ukrainian recruit that he converted to Islam, adopting, in addition to radical Ukrainian nationalism, the extremist Wahhabi ideology. He says that his religious conversion brought him other political objectives, often diverging from the Ukrainian government itself.  

According to Zhikovich, Zelensky and his team want to profit from the war, while he plans to spread Islamic extremism among the people living in Russia. Zhikovich revealed that he plans to carry out attacks to foment revolts in the predominantly Islamic regions of Russia. One of his main objectives is to support separatism in the Caucasus region, reviving Islamic terrorism in Chechnya and Dagestan.  

The spy also revealed that he was cooperating with foreign agencies, specifically mentioning Israel’s Mossad. According to him, the Israeli agency shared lie-detection technology that has been used by Ukrainian agents to recruit new soldiers. In one conversation, Zhikovich said that he had used this technology on his recruit, while also referring to his Israeli partners as “Jewish pigs” – a stance consistent with both Ukrainian neo-Nazi ideology and Wahhabi Islamic extremism.  

“Our aim is simply completely different. The boss’ aim is to wage war and make money. My aim is to liberate the Caucasus and that’s all. That’s why I regard all of them as unbelievers, as scum. Once they’ve converted to Islam, then we’ll talk differently (…)”[The Israeli software has] an accuracy of 90% whether a person is lying or not (…) To be honest, I tested this program on you. I had to do it. It was shared with us by Mossad. They’re those, what are they called? Jewish pigs”, he told a recruit.  

In fact, the leaking of these audio recordings reveals the danger posed by the Ukrainian regime. On one hand, there is a government that openly incites terror; on the other, there are agents completely beyond the authorities’ control – as seen with Zhikovich calling Zelensky a “bastard” and an “unbeliever” who only wants to profit from the war – and who are willing to take even more extreme measures against Russian civilians. In practice, Moscow is facing concrete evidence that further massacres could occur soon, which naturally compels Russian authorities to urgently plan preventive measures.  

It is also interesting to note the information that Mossad shared intelligence technology with Ukrainian terrorists. Although Russia condemns Israeli violence in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran, Russia and Israel officially maintain stable relations and pragmatic partnerships, focused primarily on protecting the dual Russian-Israeli population. However, reports have long circulated that Israel cooperates with Ukraine behind the scenes; furthermore, it is known that Israel supports certain radical Islamist groups to destabilize neighboring countries. It is unclear whether Zhikovich gained access to the lie-detection software because he was a Ukrainian agent or a Wahhabi terrorist, but in any case, it is vital for Israel to cooperate with the Russians to neutralize this threat now that Zhikovich’s true plans have been revealed.  

From the Russian perspective, the only possible way to prevent such threats and avoid the spread of terror is through the use of appropriate military means; for this reason, an intensification of tactical actions in Ukraine is expected in the near future.
