Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump’s desire to install a massive chandelier in the Oval Office was reportedly nixed by White House staff over fears it could bring the ceiling crashing down.
According to CNN’s pro-MAGA pundit Scott Jennings, Trump floated to him the idea of dangling a lavish light fixture “right through the shield” on the ceiling, an exchange Jennings recalled in his new book “A Revolution of Common Sense: How Donald Trump Stormed Washington and Fought for Western Civilization.”

The Daily Mail published an excerpt of the book, for which Trump personally chose the cover image, on Sunday. Read the full excerpt here.
Jennings wrote he told Trump the chandelier “may come in handy at night,” though he claimed to think to himself at the time that he wasn’t sure the Oval Office “needed any more lighting fixtures.” Still, he added, “I thought to myself, if anyone knows where to put a chandelier, it is this man.”
But weeks later, Jennings said he learned “the White House staff investigated the possibility but concluded the ceiling couldn’t hold the weight.”
Elsewhere in the excerpt, Jennings suggested Trump’s constant redecorating “is a metaphor for the way he has governed in his second term — adding new elements at such a rapid pace that hardly anyone can keep up.”

Trump has already thoroughly and controversially blinged out the Oval Office, torn down the East Wing to make way for a $300 million ballroom and ripped up the Rose Garden lawn for a Mar-a-Lago–style patio.
