Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayA disturbing email released as part of the House Oversight Committee’s 20,000-page document dump on Wednesday revealed a chummy relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Tom Barrack, a private equity investor who currently serves as the U.S. ambassador to Turkey.
Republicans on the House committee made the Epstein-related files public after Democrats on the committee released a handful of damning emails between the late sex offender and journalist Michael Wolff earlier in the day.
In the emails, Epstein asserts that President Donald Trump not only knew about the parade of young and underage girls he sexually exploited but had once spent “hours” with one of them.
The newly released trove of documents contains many emails between Epstein and various contacts, such as the economist Larry Summers.
In March 2016, Epstein emailed Barrack: “send photos of you and child. — make me smile.”
It is not clear from the document which child Epstein was referring to.

The message came after Epstein told Barrack he was receiving “many calls” about his friendship with Trump — to which Epstein said he was not responding — and after Barrack suggested that he and Epstein should “catch up.”
The State Department did not immediately reply to HuffPost’s request for comment.
Barrack was confirmed as the U.S. ambassador to Turkey in April.

By 2016, Epstein’s sexual misconduct was already well-known. He served around one year’s worth of jail time in Florida after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl he’d hired as a “masseuse” and paid in cash. It is not clear how Epstein continued to abuse young women and underage girls for as long as he did, although Wednesday’s document dump helps illustrate the vast network of wealthy or influential acquaintances he could call on.
Trump reacted to the files’ release by raging against the Republicans on the House panel.
“The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they’ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the Shutdown, and so many other subjects,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap.”
