Megyn Kelly did not hold back during her latest podcast, where she took aim at Hollywood actress Natalie Portman. The actress became emotional while discussing the death of Alex Pretti, an activist shot by ICE agents during an operation. Pretti had a history of confrontations with law enforcement, including breaking a rib while protesting a previous incident with federal agents.

Kelly opened her segment by quoting Portman, who lamented the state of the nation under the government’s actions, specifically calling out President Trump and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. Portman expressed pride in American citizens showing solidarity and support for one another while simultaneously decrying what she described as “the worst of the worst of humanity,” a clear reference to immigration enforcement practices.

“What is happening in our country is just obscene,” Portman said, pouring her emotions into her criticism of federal policy. However, Kelly’s response was swift and unapologetic. She dismissed Portman’s comments as irrelevant, remarking that “No one gives a shit about Natalie Portman’s political opinion.” For Kelly, Portman’s sentiments were emblematic of a broader leftist ideology that she views as disconnected from the reality faced by those in law enforcement.

“My point is simply, this guy knew very well what was going to happen to him if he injected himself in the middle of a Border Patrol enforcement operation,” Kelly stated. She highlighted that Pretti was no stranger to confrontations, emphasizing that he understood the risks yet chose to engage anyway. Kelly’s criticism cut through the emotional rhetoric, framing Pretti’s actions as reckless rather than noble.

This harsh take extended to Portman’s emotional display. Kelly challenged the authenticity of Portman’s tears, asking where her compassion was for other victims of violence. She pointedly asked, “Did you cry for her, you rich bitch, who’s protected by guards and fences?” Kelly suggested that Portman’s privileged lifestyle insulated her from the consequences that others face.

In her usual unfiltered style, Kelly underscored a stark difference between Hollywood’s outcry over issues and the realities on the ground. Her commentary reflects disdain for the perceived hypocrisy of celebrities who, while living in luxury, advocate for policies that can endanger those in law enforcement and border protection.

The back-and-forth encapsulates a growing divide in America’s public discourse. It highlights the often polarized perspectives between those who view law enforcement as protectors of the community and those who see them as oppressive forces. Kelly’s critiques of Portman serve to amplify the frustration felt by those who believe that Hollywood’s liberal elite are out of touch with the everyday struggles faced by average Americans and those tasked with enforcing laws designed to maintain order.

As the conversation continues to evolve, Kelly’s confrontational style refuses to shy away from tough subjects and provocative statements. Her platform provides a space for voices opposing the mainstream liberal viewpoints, effectively challenging the narratives pushed by Hollywood and other elite influences.
