Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayInvestigative journalist Nick Shirley is suing California over Assembly Bill 2624, a new law expanding the state’s Safe at Home privacy protections to certain immigration support service providers. Shirley argues the law violates his First Amendment rights and could interfere with investigative reporting. California officials say the measure is intended to protect immigration service providers, employees and volunteers from harassment, threats and doxxing. Shirley is asking a federal court to block enforcement of the law. The lawsuit was filed September 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
