Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayRep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is shocking lots of people with her recent statements contradicting President Donald Trump and calling out “weak Republican men” including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).
Even more surprising: She actually said positive things about Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) after the former House speaker announced her retirement last week.
Although some have speculated that Greene is trying to change her image from loony conspiracy theorist to semi-reasonable conservative in preparation for a 2028 presidential run, the pivot is confusing to some people, like the president himself.
In a press conference on Monday, Trump was asked for his response to Greene’s recent critique that domestic policy should take priority over foreign affairs ― and her acknowledgment that grocery prices have not, as he has falsely claimed, decreased.
“Yeah. So, uhh,” Trump began. “I don’t know what happened to Marjorie,” he said before adding, “She’s a nice woman, but I don’t know what happened. She’s lost her way, I think.”
Trump then expressed confusion over Greene’s willingness to leave the MAGA bubble to appear on mainstream media outlets like CNN and on shows like “Real Time With Bill Maher” and “The View.”
“So when somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who’s now catering to the other side — I don’t know what, you know, I guess she’s got some kind of an act going — but I’m surprised at her,” Trump said. “But when somebody like Marjorie goes over and starts making statements like that, it shows she doesn’t know.”
After Trump griped about Greene’s seeming defection from his side, Greene told CNN in a statement that she hasn’t changed.
“I haven’t lost my way. I’m 100% America first and only!” she said, according to CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

— Kaitlan Collins (@kaitlancollins) November 10, 2025The unexpected split between the two big-name Republicans has, predictably, attracted lots of attention on the internet.
Lately, @mtgreenee has actually been standing for something real, exposing the Epstein files, defending children’s rights, and pushing back on outrageous health insurance hikes. Funny how that suddenly looks like “not knowing” to some.

“Let the name of Marjorie be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of Egypt. Let the name of Marjorie be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time"… pic.twitter.com/prfTSVbGA0

— Music is Life (@ArtOfMusic_) November 10, 2025Trump doesn’t do so well for Republicans when he is not on the ballot. Vitriol against him is used to rally against other GOP candidates when he is not on the ballot and MTG is someone who has figured this out already
